It has been some time since the last update, but happily that is because of all the progress that has been occurring. Some highlights:
First, there was a successful trip to the Philippines in early October 2016 where the first affiliates were identified. On board are a sales manager from Empire East Land Holdings, one of the ten largest real estate firms in Manila. The manager is a Philippine licensed Real Estate Broker and Appraiser. Meetings were also held with Kittelson and Carpo Consulting on accounting matters for those moving to Philippines and Manulife Philippines concerning insuring property purchases. While a full range of affiliates have not been put in place yet this successful trip represents significant progress forward for the project.
During the trip the company engaged a web site developer, Archel Francisco (http://archelfrancisco.com), who has done a fantastic job developing the project’s web site: www.orientalresproperty.com which has also been registered and set up since the last update. Whilst not yet complete and needing much additional written materials Archel’s help has been greatly appreciated as it frees up time to build the network.
Lastly from Manila, meetings were held at the University of the Philippines Manila from which came candidates for a writing assistant position. Subsequently engaged was Chloie Cabreros, whose work will be very visible on the project as she is now assisting in researching and writing materials for the web site. It is fantastic to have her on board.
Next week will see meetings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as the project continues to expand it’s network of affiliates to realise the vision of making property investing in the Orient easy. An update on that trip will follow.
Thank you for your attention.
